Phoenix is a Leading manufacturer of Electronic Weighing Scales, Currency Counting Machines & Home Automation Products.
Phoenix brand comes under the mother company named Nitiraj Engineering; an electronic engineering company established in 1989. They design and manufacture electronic weighing scales in India.
The Client Mr.Rajeshji Bhatwal is the CEO of Nitiraj Engineering company. They decided to shift their office from smaller place to new 8 acer land in Dhule MIDC in Maharashtra, where the production unit and the admin office can be placed together.
When we had our first meeting with the client, we understood his vision to have clutter free, bright working environment with better circulation between the departments. Client wanted to provide best possible working place which will increase the productivity of the office staff which counts to 300+ people, and also wanted to have a corporate look for their office.
Before this new office, they had multiple branches and operations happening from different cities, at times coordination was challenging, that's when the client took a decision and invested in a big space, a space where their double storied 20,000 sqft admin office and their humongous production unit is just a door away. At present company is producing more than 5000 motherboards in a day.

This 20,000 sqft double storied company head office is designed in a way to showcase companies brand identity, values & their connection towards what they are best at doing.
The design concept is evolved from one of the major components that this company manufactures… the Motherboard. The company manufactures around 5000 motherboards in a day.
The design concept is evolved from one of the major components that this company manufactures… the Motherboard. The company manufactures around 5000 motherboards in a day.
The motherboard is the backbone that ties the electronic components together at one spot and allows them to talk to each other.
We have used the same philosophy for our concept while designing the office. While planning the overall furniture arrangement the passages are placed strategically, dividing the different departments. Openly placed staff working area and cabins are balancing the overall space.
We have also used the PCB circuit patterns of the motherboard as a design element which runs on a ceiling area throughout the office and binds the office in one design language.
Once you enter the office to the large reception counter welcomes you which has a PCB circuit pattern design, highlighted in a LED profile strip. This LED strip runs towards the side wall of the reception from the table, which creates an interesting environment to the person visiting the office. The reception table and the adjoining wall together starts to open up the concept of the whole office as soon as you come inside the building.
The same concept of circuit diagram pattern is reflected on the metal partition between reception and waiting lounge as well as on the ceiling above. This is how we have evolved the concept of a motherboard PCB design to reality.
We handled this large-scale project through certain steps i.e - Initiating, monitoring, controlling, planning, and execution on site. By applying our knowledge and techniques we fulfilled the client’s requirements. We followed the process of 3I- Identify, Innovate, and Implement.
After identifying the client’s requirement and the hierarchy of the staff the initial stage started from concept, zoning, bubble diagram then led to further layout plans. Concept was derived from the mother board which company manufactures as their product. then zoning of space was done by number of visitors coming in that area which we further classified into public, semi-public and then private area. During this planning we shortlisted various optional layouts and hence final and the best layout was selected by the client.
We as a team executed other service layouts simultaneously. We issued set of working drawings, regular contractor meetings which helped to eliminate the errors on site. Final 3D layout helped client to visualize the space. Also helped us to bring functional and astatically value to the space. We elevated client’s opinion during this design process from material selection, furniture selection, fittings and fixtures selection and sometimes by providing detailed drawings to the artisans. During all this process we did not disturb the clients promised budget and projects time-span. We worked and navigated this large-scale project to shape the clients dream into reality.
