At present, there are around 72 wineries in the state of Maharashtra. India's blossoming wine industry has gone from strength to strength over the last 20 years, and the number of vineyards in the country has doubled since 2000. The rise in popularity arguably signifies a growing trend for wine consumption in the domestic market, amongst India's middle classes.
The shop under the name Maharashtra wine shop decided to renovate the store by adopting new look to cater upper middle class of the society. The designer has planned two separate zones, one for regular customer and another for premium customer. Big lobby at the entrance welcomes all and caters to both the categories. Classic red brick theme was used for front facade and for the interiors as well.
As you walk inside the store the display of the bottles are convenient to pick and select the right product for you. The champagne bottle are kept horizontally to make the brand visible and wine bottles are kept on the wooden rack. central cart display allows you to walk around the display and experience the supermarket buying experience.
This walk-in concept is the 1st pioneer concept in the city. Use of empty green bottle for displaying MW brandings creates an interesting feature and branding for Maharashtra wine shop.
